AMP Capital’s private markets business (comprising real estate, infrastructure debt and infrastructure equity) is going through an exciting change, separating from AMP Group and listing on the ASX as its own entity, expected to be complete in 2022.

Working with AMP Capital, as we start our new chapter as a private markets business, you will have the rare opportunity to help shape a new business, whilst building on the foundations of leadership in real asset investment and management, sustainability, technology and innovation.

The role:

This role is responsible for working closely with AMPCSC Asset Management and Development teams in the strategic modelling of the investment performance of individual retail assets within the portfolio.  The role involves proactively influencing input into asset plans, preparing asset plans, financial returns analysis and external valuation review to deliver optimal investment solutions over both short and long term horizons.

The person:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail property valuation/finance/investment analytics;
  • Knowledge & understanding of shopping centre value drivers & property fundamentals and valuation fundamentals & techniques;
  • Knowledge of industry “best practice” and benchmarks;
  • A strong market and commercial awareness will be required;
  • Understanding of shopping centre development feasibility;
  • Tertiary qualification in property / valuation / finance.
