About the role
Be a part of the team that supports the growth and retention of AMP's retail suite of insurance, super and investment products. Supporting the services of the Business Development Managers and develop and maintain relationships with financial advisers and their support staff.
As part of the Retail Sales Team your responsibilities will include providing support to the Business Development Managers.
This will include:
•Working in a team, alongside Business Development Managers to plan proactive and purposeful activity that will drive interest and sales of AMP’s retail suite of insurance and investment products
•Managing, supporting, and conducting marketing and outbound phone and electronic campaigns
•Responding to planner queries, and utilising the opportunity of a discussion to promote AMP’s products, their features and benefits to clients
•Participating in individual and team coaching and training events, that provide insight into the market, AMP’s product offering and provide an opportunity for personal growth and team collaboration
•Proactively supporting and delivering appropriate product and systems training to Financial Advice Practices
•Understanding the business line risk and compliance processes and implementing appropriate procedures
Skills & experience
•2-3 years minimal experience working in a sales / customer service environment within financial services
•Strong working knowledge of personal insurance, superannuation and investment products
•RG146 compliant (or working towards qualification) preferred
•Holding or working towards Industry related qualification preferred
