About the role
Superannuation, Retirement & Investment (SRI) is part of the Wealth Solutions & Customer (WSC) division, and is focused on providing customers in Australia with leading superannuation, pension and investment products and platforms. SRI is responsible for managing over $110bn in assets and 3m customers across Corporate Super, Retail Master Trust and Wrap platforms. Responsibilities of SRI include platform and product strategy and program delivery, product and value management, account development and management for Corporate Super plans.

As a member of the Portfolio Management and Program Delivery team, this role we be responsible for supporting the Head of Portfolio Management and Program Delivery and the executive team to develop the strategic direction of the Super, Retirement and Investments portfolio and supporting business planning processes, driving product advocacy and operational performance to achieve business outcomes.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract role. 

•Contribute to the formulation and evolution of the product, platform and channel (Workplace Super strategy) through research, analysis and reporting;
•Development and maintenance of a key activities planning calendar to help manage capacity and planning;
•Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the implementation of key strategic initiatives across the product, platform and workplace super, including preparation of monthly CEO Report;
•Support the development of business cases for new strategic initiatives and projects, highlighting key commercial and strategic insights;
•Engage with key research and consultants for strategic purposes e.g. Strategic Insights, Comparator, SuperRatings, Chart West and responsible for the coordination and submission of market benchmarketing surveys

Skills & experience
•Strong understanding of industry, regulatory and competitor issues.
•Strong financial/business acumen and good understanding of AMP’s businesses.
•Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to think laterally, strategically and tactically where appropriate.
•Minimum 5 years financial / industry experience & Tertiary qualifications in a business or associated technical discipline.
•Strong understanding of key issues that affect the superannuation and investment platforms industry.
