In our financial advice business, we're responding to rapidly changing adviser expectations, developing innovative events, including professional development days, Advice Summit, study tours, road shows, seminars, AMP University Challenge, presentations, luncheons and dinners and other events.

About the role

This is a highly focused and driven team supporting the broad needs of the adviser network.

You will be managing multiple projects simultaneously and will need exceptional time management and attention to detail.

You will have project and budgetary control as well as sourcing of venues, speakers, and contract negotiations and will involve you building strong internal relationships.

From constructing event frameworks to being present at the event this position offers you an exceptional opportunity to get involved and build your events career.

 

Duties

  • Planning, sourcing & managing the events process
  • Develop and deliver effective and efficient event project management methodologies
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of event programs
  • Coordinate travel to, accommodation for, and onsite management of events
  • Review events against success and budget criteria

Skills & experience

  • Previous events experience preferably within the financial services sector
  • Analytically proficient with MS products and EventsAir
  • Ideally relevant events qualifications
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, project management and organisational skills
  • Proactive, solutions driven, collaborative team player.
