The Senior Manager, Market & Liquidity Risk
role will support the Deputy Group CRO Quantitative Risk, the Bank CRO, the
Group CRO and the broader business to embed the complete and consistent
application of AMP's ERM framework across AMP Group, with focus on Treasury
(AMP Group and AMP Bank) related aspects. It requires close liaison with key
stakeholders, working closely with senior business representatives and acting
as an effective "second line of defence" in managing risks to the business.
- Lead the Group's and AMP
Bank's second line of defence oversight of Treasury and Treasury-related risks
- Financial risk management
advice – be alert to financial risk events, trends and emerging issues and
provide thought leadership, advice and guidance to business teams and relevant
committees in addressing regulatory and ERM / business led initiatives
- Utilise advanced analytics to
assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness. Translate results into
meaningful solutions to enhance decision making. Present results to various
levels of leadership and influence key decisions that have business unit or

practices to quantify risk and aggregate exposures.
- Oversee the development of
complex systems and programs that measure aggregate risk exposures.
Skills & experience
- Relevant experience (7+
years' experience) and a proven record of accomplishment in Treasury or Banking
- Relevant experience in a 2nd
Line of Defence role, preferably in the Market & Liquidity Risk space
- Demonstrated experience in
establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships at a range of
- Strong understanding of the
financial services industry, relevant regulators (e.g. ASIC and APRA), and
current and proposed financial services regulatory and legislative requirement
